Drumroll here... Pepper got to meet RUTH LOGAN HERNE!! YAY! Ruthy is even cuter and snarkier in person than she is online at Seekerville - so Pepper met the people she wanted to meet MOST OF ALL (except Liz Curtis Higgs....but there's always tomorrow!)
What can be better that Christian writing friends meeting, chatting, reacquainting, learning, networking, critting, staying up late to do blogs, writing, rewriting, writing, rewriting....in cyberspace or at a conference?

Pepper and I are sitting in the lobby while Casey and Carol snore up in the room. Took 3 days to figure out the hotel internet. Crazy.
Learned so much. Now it needs to sink in. After the worship service Pepper and I hope to take the ride up in the arch before heading to the airport. Casey and Carol will take off in their cars.
Ahh leaving is such sweet sorrow.
I was able to say good bye to Liz Curtis Higgs as she rolled her suitcases out of the lobby.
Brandilyn Collins left her Bible in the prayer room for others to use. Good thing...I needed it:)
