What's Up the Street Next Week?

Let it Snow?

How many of you are dealing with the lovely white stuff?
or
How many of you are having unseasonably warm weather?

It's a weird world and kind of like novel writing - a good dose of expected and unexpected situations to build a storyworld, add adventure, and move the story forward.

What's one of the BEST unexpected things you've read happen in a story?

Next week?

Monday - Angie is chatting about the dreaded D word....DISTRACTIONS

Tuesday - WELCOME Jeanne Takanaka (affectionately known at Jeanne T) as our guest blogger for today! Woohoo!! She's going to chat about contest results.

Wednesday - Ashley brings her usual charm and insight into her post about dreams and callings entitled Sarah's Laugh

Thursday - As usual, Karen brings an interesting post this week and her focus is on the Suspension of Disbelief

Friday - Stop by to enjoy another chat with our newest Cat - Amy as she moves from talking about pizza to stepping out with a Leap of Faith!

This week promises to be an awesome week of posts, so neat when God shows themes.

Looking forward to the posts this coming week! Yes, we've had some snow, but I'm praying for a lot more! We've also had LOTS of unseasonably warm weather. Sigh.

Most unexpected thing in a book? I'm reading Lisa Wingate's Blue Moon Bay, and the heroine left her purse in a very bad place. Totally took me off guard, and led her on a very different journey than she expected. I'm not far into it, but I'm remembering that little device for my next story. Have a great weekend!

This week looks FABULOUS. DEFINITELY need Monday's post.

And we've had an unusually mild winter here - up until about a week ago. Now we're making up for it - and more. My daughter's out playing in it right now.
