Writing your Soul Out

When I saw this, I had to post it. There are so many times when I look back at my manuscripts and see my soul painted on the pages. Have you experienced the same?
Have a great Sunday! --Angie

Angie, actually I haven't, and that's been a criticism of contest judges. The lack of "voice." But I want it to be authentic. This is a good reminder.

Thanks for commenting in honesty, Kathy. Voice is so tricky because it's such a subjective thing. I try to tap into the emotion of the character and apply my own reaction to it...even if I have never been in their situation before, my heart has probably felt the specific emotion. Keep writing! Ang
