SNOW!
It seems everyone is getting a bit more than they were wanting (or needing) right now. But here, in my little corner of the world, this is the first snow we've gotten all year. Time to haul out the sleds and have some fun!

We had some snow Thursday and they let us go home early from work...and we had a 2 hour delay to the start of school/work Friday. :) Any wintery precipitation here in Texas shuts us down. Quite nice...makes for some snuggly editing.
Thanks for the Giveaway opportunity. I'm excited & am looking forward to this great read. Just Tweeted the news!
Congratulations, Elaine for winning the book!
Someone commented on another blog saying they had a cold drink and they were sweaty hot from the temperatures outside. I simply had to ask where the person was from knowing the US seems to be blanketed with snow. Can you guess?
I'm hoping for snow here - as long as the roads are cleared by Wednesday when I travel to Nashville :-)
Mary - Australia ;-)
The snow will not leave us alone!!! Winter is just too long! And yes, I am whining! ;)
We got dumped last night and now it's RAINING, making everything a wet sloppy mess. So much for pretty whiteness everywhere. :)
I'm whining right along with ya, Amy! (Even in a blog post - today! http://www.thebarndoor.net/2014/02/an-extended-honeymoon.html - if you wanna check it out!)
We've gotten almost 100 inches this season so far, with about two feet on the ground - a couple feet higher for the piled up snow from nonstop plowing and shoveling and such. SO ready for spring!
Looking forward to this week, of course - and congrats, Elaine!
]Oh, yeah, lots of snow on the ground here. I'm guessing it will stay around until May.
Congratulations, Elaine! It looks like a great week here at the Alley. :) Thanks, ladies, for all you share with us!
