What's Up the Street for Next Week?

It's November!!

A season in which we celebrate Thankfulness!
And since it's November 2nd, do you have 2 things for which to be thankful?
I know our sweet AlleyCat, Ashley Clark, does.
Besides having an awesome family that supports her, THIS month she's celebrating the release of her first short story.
Do you see that 'thankful' face :-) Guideposts releases A Cup of Christmas Cheer with her story The Christmas Thief taking PRINT!!
We are thrilled and thankful to celebrate this with her!!

So, what else is going on this week!
More FABULOUS NEWS!!

Monday, the fabulous Edie Melson will bring some of her social media-savvy to The Alley.

Stop by and join us for more fun, news, inspiration, and information next week on The Writers Alley.

Have a fabulous weekend...from our Alley to Yours.

So happy for you, Ash!!! We can add another 'book in print' to our Alley list! Sandwiches and Christmas!
Yep - I like 'em both!

Yeppers! That Ashley is a cutie-patootie! And Pepper, I think we definitely need a published book with chocolate in the title. Would you get on that?

Pepper said...

Oh good gravy, Sherrinda! YES! Wouldn't that be fantastic.
Romance, with a side of Chocolate...oops, too close to Krista's ;-)

Chocolate-covered Romance - light-bulb....totally would fit a character who works in a bakery, or a candy-shop, wouldn't it? Heaven help me, I think I'm in love!

Mmm...you are making me hungry! How about "I'm Dating A Chocolate Candy Man" or "the Chocolate Covered Dates" or Chocolate Delivery Man or... Sigh... Wish I had some Halloween candy left!

How about sandwiches AT Christmas? ;) Thanks, Pep! Love you!

I could totally go for that!

Yay for Ashley AND chocolate! And all you dear Alley Cats! I'd read just about any fiction with chocolate in the title - especially if it came with free samples! Looking forward to next week!

I am so excited to read the finished product, Ashley! And in print! WOOHOO!
I am thinking we need to write a book in a collaborative effort, called:
Chocolate: When Ten Women Have Something to Say ;)
Ooh, and totally random, but have you all heard of chocolate spaghetti? It's true! Wonder how it tastes. A must for our next retreat??

Ha! Mary, those are awesome!

And Angie!!! Chocolate spaghetti??? I'm gonna go google that right now. ;)

Yay for our Ash!!

Chocolate Delivery man...that's sticky business Sherrinda. :)

I make a chocolate-bacon fudge and I must say its killer, although at a church supper it was left out of the fridge and became chocolate bacon soup.

Sherrinda Ketchersid said...

Sticky business, indeed, Julia. (snicker) Oh wait...Snickers is chocolate too! Maybe I should see if I have any chocolate chips in the pantry.

HA! You gals!

Argghh...Sherrinda. You are dangerous. I ate 2 of the Halloween snack size snickers after this.
