What's Up the Street for Next Week?

We'd like to tell you who might be joining the Alley Cat family...but, well...

Okay, fine. I'll tell you. I've never been any good at keeping secrets. The words are just hot under my fingers to share. But first, a little bit of suspense.

This is after all, her genre of choice.

Three fun facts about her new Alley Cat:

She just acquired a rock star agent in today's Christian fiction industry.

She's the mom of two adorable tow-headed boys.

Her husband looks like the hero on the cover of Candace Calvert's latest novel release.

Guessed who it is yet? You'll have to read a little bit further.... ;-)

Coming next week on the alley...

Can you lose your ability to write well? Angie answers that haunting question on Monday.

Julia is your hostess for Tuesday's post.

Karen is posting about her "one word" for the new year on Wednesday...have you chosen your word yet?

What you should and should not expect from your agent...a tutorial on Thursday from Ashley

We have alley friend Carol Moncado guest posting on Friday! Carol keeps things fun...be sure and stop by. :-)

Please share a warm welcome in to the comments to...

Amy Leigh Simpson!

WELCOME AMY!!
We're glad to have you here. :-))

Sorry for the tardy reply! I was having technical difficulties!

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome! I am positively thrilled to be here among such incredibly talented and sweet women, mothers, believers, and writers. I can't wait to dive in!

And yes, I did contact Candace Calvert to let her know she has impeccable taste in heroes. :) Read Trauma Plan, he really does look like my hubby--right down the the "rugged" scar in his eyebrow. Needless to say Dr. Jack Travis and my first hero FBI Agent Archer Hayes have more than a few similar traits :)
