Spring days!
Aren't they wonderful?
Blossoms, breezes, long walks and refreshing bicycle rides.
Planting flowers and having picnics.
Love it!
Apart from Autumn, it's my favorite time of year.
What about you? Do you have a favorite season? Are you inspired to write during a certain season? or about a certain season? :-) Most of my novels take place in the Fall. I didn't realize this until I was working on the weekend blog post. What about you?
Leave your answer for a chance to win Karen Witemeyer's wonderful novel, A Tailor Made Bride.
Okay - we do have a winner for Rachel Hauck's fabulous book, Dining With Joy.
SUSAN ANNE MASON
Haven't you won enough in the past few weeks ;-) LOL
Congrats, Susan. Please send me your snail mail at pepperbasham (at) yahoo (dot) com.
This week some special posts are coming up.
Check them out!
Wednesday help us welcome our fabulous new Alley Cat, Karen Schravemade as we post a very fun interview so you can get to know her better. We are so glad to have her as part of the Alley.
Thursday, Ashley has a brow raising for us. How to craft the Hero and Heroine of your audience's dreams. Woohooo! Bring. IT. ON! I'm all for hero-talk :-) Go, Ashley!
Friday, Cindy starts a series about Knowing your Reader. This week she'll be chatting about Know Your Reader, Know Your Character.
Looks like there's a lot of character development going on this week, so don't miss it.
And - don't forget to stop and smell the roses.

pictures are available courtesy of Pepper's trip to England which happened 4 years ago in May.
Lovely trip it was too!
Can't wait for the interview with Karen! Hope you all have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the interview! And Pep, I love the pictures. Makes me want to go back to England....sigh.
ReplyDeleteEager for the interview with Karen.
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures. It's so green there, says this California gal who sees lots of golden hillsides in the Sierra Foothills once our rains stop. =)
Oh, I can't wait for the interview either. Karen's proving to be a FANTASTIC fit in the Alley - she's putting up with our craziness pretty well ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd England! Oh ENGLAND! I love looking at those pictures - and I can assure you, if I get another wish to come true, I'll be flying right back over. Someday.
Soooo wanna go to England. Some day, Lord willing. Looks like a great week :) (curious, of course, what's up for Monday and Tuesday, but I can wait LOL)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the week! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite season is fall as well!
Sounds like a great week coming here in the Alley! :) The only part of England I've seen is the Manchester airport. Does that count? I'd love to see some of countryside where BBC's Pride and Prejudice was filmed. :)
ReplyDeleteI love spring and fall. And winter. Sometimes. And summer--in Colorado, not so much in Las Vegas, where we used to live. :)
Please don't put me in the drawing for Karen's Witemeyer's book. I've already read it!:)
Hopefully, I'll see y'all on Monday!
I fell in love with Karen Witemeyer's Head in the Clouds a few months ago. Oh, my word, was it fabulous. So please enter me. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great week!
And a trip to England! How beautiful!

LOL. And of course I forget to leave my answer in my excitement about the upcoming week and a European trip. Oh, well, it's Saturday. I'm allowed to be forgetful, I hope.
ReplyDeleteOne of my novels is set during the spring, but the others are set during the autumn. :) Which I didn't realize until just now.
How wonderful to win one of Rachel's books. And I didn't even realize I was in a draw! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI have all Karen Witemeyer's books and have pre-ordered her next one! LOVE her books.
Thanks Pepper and Alley Cats!
Sue
Pepper, What great pictures!! I love England. The countryside is beautiful! Spring is definitely my favorite season...especially after a few Modeest winters...it's so magical to see plants blooming after a few months of wintry tundra!
ReplyDeleteMidwest!! Ha!
