Happy Fourth of July everyone!!
What a wonderful day to celebrate. Freedom. Indepedence. America!
Writers love fireworks, you know. They prefer them between a hero and heroine, or maybe a dragon and knight, or possibly accompanied with explosives, but fireworks are a definite fictional-plus!
But today, it's not about fiction. It's about fact. So let the Roman candles flare, fuses flame, and sparklers...er..sparkle.
This week, the hosts of The Writers Alley are going to talk about rules. Right Rules. Wrong Rules. House Rules - but really, Writing Rules.
Rules are necessary, but...when is it okay to break them?
Stop by and find out this week as each host takes a rule, shows the good, the bad, and the ugly of it. (to the best of her ability)
And come by Saturday as Author Vickie McDonough posts about Developing Characters Using Archetypes
