What's Up the Street For Next Week?

The Writers Alley has a fun, first week planned to introduce you to the ladies behind all the adventures happening on this part of town.

So…

Stop by our shops along the Alley and peek in on what we have to offer.

This week is Meet The Authors week at The Writer’s Alley.

Monday – Pepper Basham introduces you to the fun and frenzied world she calls ‘life’. She’ll also take you on a tour inside her convoluted brain so you can find out more about the types of books she writes and some of her aspirations for her writing future – and probably get lost along the way. Pepper doesn’t guarantee that all will come back out alive after such a perilous adventure.

Tuesday – Meet Sherrinda Ketchersid and find out more about where she is in her writing journey, what writing projects she wants to pursue, and a bit more about this sweet Texan. Ask her about the newest addition to her family.

Wednesday – Mary Vee welcomes you to The Writers Alley today. With childrens’ stories published in various magazines and a penchant for retelling Bible stories in an engaging way, Mary will introduce you to the lady behind the stories. Learn more about her writing, life, and juggling everything in between.

Thursday – Bringing in the day with a smile, Casey Herringshaw gives you a glimpse into her world of writing, encouraging, and being a young woman of faith. Her wonderful blog, Encourage An Author, has already blessed authors and given people a good hint into her sweet personality.

Friday – Get ready for some laughter and fun as Krista Phillips brings in the weekend with her own introduction. Author of Oh la la Intimates, Krista is ‘in the know’ about Romance Writers links, but there’s so much more to learn about Krista. Make sure you stop by and find out the very special surprise in store for her in the not-so-distant future.

Saturday – The Alley gets kind of crazy on Saturdays as our Street Party goes into full swing. This week our special guest is Janice Thompson. Author of the Weddings By Bella series, Janice stops by to share about writing comedy and light-hearted situations in fiction.

SIDEWALK TALK:

Did you hear?

Author Christa Allan is stopping by on May 15th to talk about her first sale.

And Cathy Bryant will fill us in about the ups and downs of self-publishing on May 22nd.

Stop the press! Did you say award winning author Deb Raney is coming to The Writers Alley on May 29th?

Mark your calendars.

Our very own Pepper Basham will be the guest on Keli Gwyn’s blog Romance Writers on the Journey on May 10th. Stop by and read about her crazy life – if you can handle it. http://romancewritersonthejourney.wordpress.com/

Can’t wait to have you join us on this journey to Publication Central.

I look forward to the intros, especially Mary and Casey, whom I've yet to meet.

How exciting that you've got Deb Raney coming. I sat at her table at the Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference once. She's so sweet. Be sure to ask her about Brandilyn Collins and the snake. I witnessed that memorable moment--and heard the squeal.

Keli,
I'm afraid Monday is going to be a repeat for you! LOL. You've had A LOT of 'Pepper' lately. Hopefully it won't cause indigestion :-)

Deb Raney is incredibly sweet. I met her three years ago at my first BRMCWC. What an encourager!!
